Our story
Fridah is 27, a mother of twins, and she lives with lupus. When her lupus flared she was admitted to Pope Benedict Hospital in Nyahururu. The treatment was known; paying for it was the problem: albumin infusions at KES 12,000 each and strong steroids at KES 7,000 a dose. Her partner Sam took loans.
